As Predicted by GWO - Category 1 Hurricane Hermine Made Landfall over the Florida Panhandle Early on
Hurricane Hermine will made landfall early Thursday morning September the 2nd and will spread Tropical Storm conditions northeastward over Eastern Georgia and the Carolina's during the next few days. GWO's 2016 predictions released in January predicted a Category 1 hurricane landfall in the Upper Gulf GWO Zone 9 and Tropical Storm conditions spreading northeast across GWO Zones 5 and 4 (Northeast Florida to the Carolina's). GWO expects one more hurricane landfall during the 2016 season - and it has a high risk for being a strong hurricane.
